Yep! That was the issue. I should have considered that sooner but I was too trusting I suppose. I'll have to do some reading on how to utilize a scope or logic analyzer in CCS since I'm unfamiliar with that. I'm still having an interrupt request issue but the SPI communication seems to be working fine. Thanks a lot for your help! - Jonathan
