Hi Team, msp430f1232 datasheet specifies storage temperature -55degC to 150degC for unprogrammed device, and -40degC to 85degC for programmed device. This 85degC limit is troublesome for customer. Why does programmed device must have lower storage temperature than unprogrammed device? Is it because Flash's data retention duration will reduce at >85 degC? If so, how much is the impact? Datasheet says data retention duration is 100 years at 25 degC. If it can do 10 years at 125 degC, it is still good enough for many applications. Please help elaborate. Thank you very much! Regards Zhiyuan
