Hi Everyone, I am very new to the TI micro-controller, I am trying to set up my MSP432 launch pad such that it will receive a command from PC through UART and read a sensor reading through I2C , then send the reading back PC. I followed the example " BOOSTXL-EDUMKII _LightSensor_ MSP432P401R " to get I2C working . I followed the example " MSP432 UART - PC Echo with 12MHz BRCLK" to get UART working. (able to loop back to PC). I was pretty happy with my progress, Then i tried to integrate the UART code into my I2C project ( BOOSTXL-EDUMKII _LightSensor_ MSP432P401R ). But somehow the UART does not work at all. I even tried to copy the exact main.c function into the main.c function in I2C project, it complies fine , but does not loop back at. The exact same code works in UART project. I am so confused. Why the code works in one project but does not work in another? Below is my BOOSTXL-EDUMKII _LightSensor_ MSP432P401R project with main.c replace with UART loop example code. I am scratching my head here. Thanks ahead for your helps.
