Hi Phillip, The MSP430F5529 LaunchPad has an onboard eZ-FET Lite emulator, as discussed in Section 2.2.2 of the LaunchPad User's Guide . See Section 2.5 for more details about how to use this emulator with a different target. Next, we need to make sure the eZ-FET Lite emulator supports the MSP430FR5739 . According to Table 1 in the MSP Debuggers User's Guide , it does! As another option, you may want to consider the REP430F , which is based on the MSP430F5437. This tool allows an image to be flashed to a device through JTAG, SBW, and BSL interfaces, and it supports all MSP430 flash-based and FRAM-based devices.
