Hi all. I've been playing around with the msp430f5529 experimenter board and I'm going to take the venture of developing my own board using this chip. I know how to use the SBW interface to program MSP430s, but I'm not too sure how to use the USB interface on this chip. The msp430f5529 has DM/DP pins which are connected to another chip on the msp430f5529 experimenter board, known as the USB hub. Is it possible to use the msp430f5529 by directly connecting the DM/DP pins of the chip to a USB connector that's connected to my laptop? Or do I have to go through this USB hub to get this working? For ease of use, this is what I mean: laptop USB port DM/DP msp430f5529 DM/DP pins. I will be programming the MCU via SBW By looking at the schematic of the experimenter board, it looks like I will need a few resistors and caps on these lines too. Thanks
