Hi I just got the CC2650 development board and it works with the TI app (only shows device info), so now I am trying to have it working with some app. I need to build an app which can send some simple commands to the cc2650 and gets a reply. For start I tried using existing bluetooth apps from the android app store, like the bluetooth terminal app. None except the TI app are able to connect to the CC2650 , all of them fail when trying to connect. What do I need to do so that I am able to send characters from one of the bluetooth serial console apps to the CC2650 and have it reply something? Or is there a better way of testing such functionality without developing a stand alone app from scratch (using the TI app as template)? Or does the TI app have some functionality where I can try manually sending data packets?
