Forum Post: RE: Is there a way to run code on MSP432 Launchpad without launching Debug session?

Yeah, my project idles after setup, then waits for a button press to take measurements and then sends them out the TXD/RXD connections to the other side of the Launchpad. It continuously sends data for about 20 seconds and I was seeing none of that coming through on Hyperterminal when the debugger was attached. That being said, I've tried blinking one of the LED's continuously in the program and its showing me that its not running when I disconnect the debugger and power, then reconnect the USB cable. I'm still wondering if there's some combination of jumpers I have to pull off that allows for this operation. Or I have to actually apply power to one of the 3V3 or 5V labeled pins on the board? The absence of the blinking LED indicates to me that my code is not actually running, but I know the board is powered because LED102 is powered on on the board when the USB cable is connected.
