To whom this concerns, I have an issue connecting to my launchpad. I'll layout the scenario below: I've had no issues connecting to my launchpad until a friend of mine connected my board to their computer and then accidentally unplugged it without terminating the debugger. Now when I connect to my computer, Windows says the device is unrecognizable and when ever I try downloading a code onto my board the error, in subject above, gets thrown up and it won't let me do anything. I tried reinstalling the firmware and that didn't work. However, whenever I connect the board to my friends computer, it connects with no issues. We changed the serial number of my board to match my friends and I believe that that is the issue. I have also tried to factory reset my board but I'm unable to connect to the DAP following the procedure as laid out in the CCS 6.1+ for MSP432 (Rev. E) PDF. I've run the xdsdfu -e and it doesn't find my board, I hook up my friends with the same serial number and it finds it fine. I then unconnected theirs and reconnected mine and it was able to find my board and everything would work. I then turned off my computer and came back to it later and the problem came back. I'm at a loss of what to do now. Is there any way to retrieve the original serial number of the board to try and fix the problem, if this is the problem? Or is there a way to factory reset it without connecting to the DAP and would that fix the problem? I've tried many different methods and they have all failed and I'm out of ideas. Any help or insight would be great. Thank you for any and all help. Cody
