Hello Ryan, still my doubts persists so better I explain what i did 1.First I just flashed the bsl code source (Available in TI site )to my MSP432P401R launch pad using debugger (without modifying anything). 2. Then I connected my MSP432P401R UART pin (RX P3.2 and TX P3.3) with USB to serial converter (only the TX and RX pins ). 3. And tried to run the example script file through BSL scripter. The bsl scripter got exited after few minutes saying bsl initialization failed. I have used the following script. LOG MODE P4xx UART 9600 COM5 PARITY RX_PASSWORD_32 pass256_wrong.txt RX_PASSWORD_32 pass256_default.txt MASS_ERASE RX_DATA_BLOCK_32 BlinkLED_ MSP432P401R .txt TX_BSL_VERSION_32 TX_DATA_BLOCK_32 0x0000 0x4000 ReadBlock_ MSP432P401R .txt REBOOT_RESET The LOG file created says, --------------------------------------------------------- BSL Scripter 3.1.0.0 PC software for BSL programming 2016-Nov-03 23:31:08 --------------------------------------------------------- Input file script is : D:/BSL files/BSL_Scripter_Windows/bsl-scripter-windows/script_P4xx_uart.txt MODE P4xx UART 9600 COM5 PARITY Initialization of BSL P432 failed... Exit the scripter... Is that anything I'm missing out. I couldn't load the application example Blink_LED into my micro. Thanks in advnace Regards Bala.
