Hi, I recently joined a new company and have been tasked with programming firmware into an old product (designed in 2004 timeframe). I'm having to sift through much documentation to determine how to program this product. The instructions say: Convert the hex file to a .S43 file (which I have done already). Open up the project and make the project. Plug the JTAG emulator into the unit to be programmed and load the file using C-Spy. After some investigation (setting a Google search time boundary around 2003-2006) I discovered that IAR - C-spy was a debugger used back then. I'm assuming this product was developed around that tool. I suspect that in the early to mid 2000's, they didn't allow program downloads as easily as they do now, which is why I'm probably having difficulty finding a source to download. Also, I may not have the license files so I can use the IAR debugger. I'm running blind here as there is virtually no documentation on how the software was developed for this product. No history of tools used. I'm just trying to take the .S43 file and load it into my target. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Scott
