Hi Everyone, We are using MSP430F67751A in our application.We have captured reset line Voltage of Micro controller and its Power supply to check if this voltage is behaving correctly while Powering On and OFF the microcontroller Supply. In this captured waveform we have identified the the Power supply takes around 10 seconds and settles down at 0.4 volts even after removing the power supply as shown in the below waveform and Hence reset line also behaving similar to the Power supply. Will this cause a reset problem to the microcontroller while it is powered ON right after Power OFF condition ?? Power ON and Power OFF sequence of microcontroller supply and Reset line is shown in below diagram. Power On and Power OFF sequence of microcontroller: From the above figure we can see that the both DVCC and Reset line is coming lower than 1 volts.Do we need to add a supervisiory circuit for resetting the microcontroller while supply voltage is coming lower than some threshold like 2.6 volts ?? Added the Reset pin circuit as well for your reference. Regards, Rajesh K
