I've made progress. I found my board's .cmd and .h file in /Applications/ti/tirtos_msp43x_2_20_00_06/products/bios_6_46_00_23/packages/ti/mcu/msp430/include. The Board.h and msp430f6765a .c was easy enough to port over from the 5529 example. I'm still in need of why/how PIN.h is used appropriately and where PIN_ID comes from.
