Sorry, i was on leave so could not reply. The above links did not solve the problem.What i did was that i tried to upload a sketch with energia on the same board. Energia was some how able to update the MSP debug firmware.Then i did the same thing with CCS V6 on the same board, and to my surprise, the update was successful and now i am able to use the board. But i still dont understand the real issue behind this...if any one can figure out the problem, it wail help many...
