Part Number: MSP430F6659 Hello TI , I am using MSP430F6659 in my project to communicate with EEPROM 25AA1024. 25AA1024 has SPI interface and 256 bytes page size. I have implemented CRC logic using Fletcher16 algorithm to check data corruption during read/write. One EEPROM page has 254 data bytes and 2 bytes CRC. MSP460F6659 is running on 1MHz clock frequency. Now when ever I am read/write in EEPROM with CRC, it's take approximate 180 ms to complete process. So I want to reduced this time significantly. I have tried with following logic to reduce time 1) Increase SPI clock speed. 2) Reduce page size to 32 bytes instead of 256 bytes. Kindly suggested any other algorithm, so that I can reduce time.
