TV speaker have low impedance, thus trying to drive it, msp430 can get brown-out and reset or just hung. To handle power consumption spikes, additional "storage" capacitor needed, like 22uF-220uF or so. I would try series 100ohm resistor + 1uF first, see how it works, then increase capacitor up-to 22uF at max, obviously leaving 100ohm resistor.
