Thanks Ryan. I've done these steps already. The first issue is that the resulting file that appear in the debug folder seems to be a TI-TXT file but has no .txt extension, and is named differently from the .out file. The name seems to stop at the first space in the .out file name, so it may be that the MSP430 Hex Utility doesn't understand spaces in the project name. The next issue is that the MSP430Flasher version I have that came with CCStudio 6.1.2 seems to be too old to see my MSP-FET as it is saying "# ERROR 1014: Could not find MSP-FET430UIF on specified COM port" One of the problems here is that the older MSP430Flasher I have does not report a version or build date. I'm now working with 1.3.10 which just flashed and seems to have bricked my MSP430 FET. >sigh< Hopefully CCS can reflash it.
