TI makes many different MSP430 chips for good reasons. You cannot arbitrarily replace one MSP430 with another MSP430 chip, slap on the same code for one chip and expect it to work on the other chips. To fix this, you need to go back to the drawing board. Find out what memory size and peripherals are needed before you pick up MSP430G2552. For one thing, F2370 has 32 KB of Flash starting at 0x08000, and G2553 has only 16 KB of memory with nothing from 0x08000 all way down to 0x0BFFF. How much Flash do you need to have "MSP430_ bq26100 " under "rts430.lib".
