The supported device list also clarifies the recommended amount of memory: [quote]For MSP430 the recommended device memory configuration for SYS/BIOS is: 8KB or more of RAM, and 32KB or more of FLASH. With tuning of configuration settings, small applications can be deployed on the smaller memory devices (4KB RAM and 32KB FLASH) included in the list above.[/quote] See Boards Supported for which MSP430 boards have TI-RTOS examples. The MSP-EXP430F5529LP is the cheapest board which has TI-RTOS examples.
