Hi Yuji, Yes, if the space between the metal overlay and the sensor electrode underneath the overlay changes due to mechanical stress caused by elevated temperatures, then this will be detected in by the CapTIvate measurement process. If this change is slow (most likely will be because temperature change is not rapid) then the LTA (long term averaging) will track this and re-calibrate the sensors if needed. The important thing here is to keep the mechanical assembly from changing across temperatures. Proper bonding techniques, such a using PSA (pressure sensitive adhesives), can help keep the PCB and overlay from moving.
