A current measurement of the power rail at the USB connector ought to be informative. At that point both regulators are drawing off the bus supplies from the USB V+ and V- pins and quiescent current draw with and without the booster pack will establish the baseline draw of the booster. During FLASH programming I don't expect to get very good data that way as by that point things have pretty much gone too weird. J.R.
