Hi Jim, Because the pass256_default.txt does not have the correct password, it will perform a mass erase. From the Bootloader (BSL) Scripter ( SLAU655 ): RX_PASSWORD {FILENAME} Description Reads the supplied TI TXT file and submit this data to the BSL as a password to unlock the device if the password is correct. If the password is wrong, a mass erase is performed . So you will need to create a new password using your BlinkLED_ MSP432P401R .txt file (first 256 bytes). I'm attaching my BlinkLED_MSP432P401R.txt and my new password pass256_blink.txt as reference. Hopefully this helps. David
