Forum Post: RE: MSP-FET Flash Emulation Tool problem

Hi, We got the debugger working. After a long debug session,it was noted the switch U18 has 2 power inputs, VCC_SUPPLY and VCC_SUPPLY_TRGT . Neither one was appearing at the output. The switch is now...

Forum Post: RE: CAPTIVATE-FR2633 as boosterpack

Hello Kazola, The closest thing I think we have that you are looking for is a project involving MSP432. www.ti.com/.../tidm-captivate-msp432 I'll let Dennis Lehman comment if he knows of any others.

Forum Post: RE: MSP430FR2032 | FLL settling when referenced to REFO

The main question here is how long does it take for the FLL to settle using REFO from a BOR or cold boot? I understand the data sheet doesn't clearly spec this; however, can you please make an educated...

Forum Post: RE: eZ-FET vs MSP-FET

I actually read that bit myself but I can't quite see that on pro/con basis. Add on top of that that eZ-FET is not actually a MSP debugger so it may have other advantages/downsides. I guess I'd get...

Forum Post: RE: Questions about PMM24 of slaz517p

Young, Simply pulling TEST high is not enough to jump to JTAG/SBW/BSL mode. Pulling TEST high makes the shared JTAG pins (in this part PJ.0-3) take the JTAG/SBW function, but it won't stop the part...

Forum Post: RE: eZ-FET vs MSP-FET

The eZ-FET is most definitely a MSP debugger and supports SBW programming & communication on all MSP430 devices. But if you require the speed benefits offered by 4-wire JTAG then you will need to...

Forum Post: RE: eZ-FET vs MSP-FET

[quote user="Olli Mannisto"] That gives you a simple pro/con table. 2-wire Spy-BI-Wire is slower but does not require any I/O pins as the pins are dedicated test pins. Of course you could see this as...

Forum Post: RE: Apply 3.3 V on GPIO get automatically 1.2V on AVCC and 2.1V...

The pins are internally connected to the supply rails with protection diodes that start to conduct when the voltage difference between pin and rail exceeds the diode's forward voltage.

Forum Post: RE: Apply 3.3 V on GPIO get automatically 1.2V on AVCC and 2.1V...

As shown in the datasheet's absolute maximum ratings, you must never apply a voltage greater than VCC + 0.3 V to any pin.

Hi Mukesh, Just to clarify, you are connecting the same 3V battery to AVCC and DVCC? Additionally, you have a separate 10k pull-up going from P2.0 and P2.1 to the 3V battery? Is anything else connected...

Forum Post: RE: DMA transfer Increment Problem--Every other byte missing!

A block transfer moves all bytes at once, at fast as possible. You have to tell the DMA controller to move each byte only when the transfer buffer is empty. You probably want single transfer mode. And...
